A picture of Thorin Oakenshield from The Hobbit because he is my newest crush...

Done with a normal pencil and added the texture with photoshop (which you can find here:
[link] )

It was really fun drawing his eyes and nose and face (he’s just so beautiful!) but as soon as I got to draw the beard and his hair and I thought I would never finish. But surprisingly I’m quite happy with the outcome and I hope you like it as well.
And now I’ll be going and drinking a tea and dreaming of going on adventures with him and his company.

This is just... stunning... I can't...
You perfected every last, tiny, tiny little detail... well you always do but the shadows here are just so realistic... especially underneath those beautiful locks of hair! That must have took you so long... but thank you for pulling through it! Your perseverance and patience truly are inspiring to me :hug: Not to mention the way you handle a pencil! I mean, my word, this is such a professional looking portrait, it really captures feelings of intensity, determination, and somehow loyalty, and without even seeing the movie I can really see Thorin as a likeable character...
